I absolutely loved uni! I went to Bristol and the course there involves 2 ears of preclinical studies, lookig at anatomy, biochemistry, physiology, animal management etc and then the final 3 years are clinical years looking at diseases, drugs, investigative tests etc and the final year is all practical working in clinics.
I am really glad a did vet medicine even though I don’t always practice as a vet in general practice as I still can if I want ( and to make some much needed extra cash!) and I bring a different angle to the behaviour work and research I do and a lot of extra knowledge. So yes, I wouldn’t change anything!
