There are 7 universities in the uk who do veterinary science at the moment, RVC in London, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Cambridge, Bristol, Liverpool and Nottingham. Most of them expect AAB at A level, with an A in chemistry. They also expect a lot of work experience at local vet practices, cattery’s, kennels, farms, stables etc to show that you are commited and have really thought about the career. Let me know if you have any other questions about being a vet!

Am not a vet myself, but I understand medicine and vet medicine are two of the hardest courses to get onto (normally AAB need at A Level or similar). Other sciences tend to have easier grades, but it depends where you apply.
