  I use sound waves in terms of how we hear and understand them, rather than for imaging (like ultrasound…). So, I have run experiments where I play people sounds like distorted sentences over headphones and measure (using an MRI scanner) what happens in their brains when they try to understand what the sentences mean.

Question: do you use any other waves apart from sound waves such as gamma rays or x-rays?
