      Hi jackyboy,

This is going to sound corny but my wife is my biggest inspiration. She’s a fantastic scientist who is always pushing the envelope and developing and testing new theories. I think her work on understanding the consequences of brain damage and how recovery occurs is likely to be one of the biggest changes to “neuropsychology” since the field began in the late 1800s.

Not only is she an amazing scientist, but she’s a brilliant mother and wife and just a great person. It’s possible I’m slightly biased, but I do find her inspirational. (*aww*)

Tricky question. My grandad did a lot early work into radiotherapy for cancer so I guess he inspired me rather a lot. And my biology teacher Mr O’Donnell got me hooked on biology (and on sarcasm). I’m also a Chrstian so I have a lot of church-based role models.
