Yes I have! It’s on my profile page if you want to look at it too!

I participated in a speech production experiment for our lab in which I did spoken impersonations of famous people and friends. We wanted to see which bits of the brain are involved in changing the voice to make it sound like someone else’s. It was a bit weird to look at my own brain, but cool as well. The picture on my profile just shows the anatomical scan from the MRI that lets us look at the structure of the brain.

Afraid not. The closest I have come is seeing some of my nose cells flapping around under a microscope (its not quite the same is it?)

      Hi alice,

Many, many times — I’ve even used pictures of my brain in lectures I give and in paper’s I’ve written. It’s excellent to see your own brain.

I reckon I’ve personally been in the MRI scanner about 300 times and I’ve scanned roughly 1500 people. Showing them their own brain is always a highlight. Just did three yesterday and they all loved it.
