Love it — probably because I like eating so much. I’m the main cook in our family although both my wife and my daughters cook well when they decide to cook. In fact, my youngest daughter is cooking for the first time tonight. She’s making vegetable lasagna and brownies. I’m looking forward to it. 😉
UPDATE: She did a good job. The brownies were better than the lasagna though.
Yes I do! I’m not brilliant, but I make a nice bolognese, a decent carbonara and quite a nice lasagne too.
I’ve recently discovered a new recipe for eggs:
Put them in boiling water for exactly 6 minutes, then straight into cold water to cool them down. Peel them and serve on toast. The white is nice and solid but the yolk turns out all golden and runny. I highly recommend the ‘6 minute egg’.
I don’t mind it, but I’m useless at it! I am can follow instructions on a packet or in a book ok, but really cannot improvise at all (unlike my wife who will open a bottle of sauce, decide she can do better and spend the next 10 mins mixing different herbs into it).
Mariana, where do you find good ingredients for mexican? I keep looking because that’s probably one of the things i miss most from north america. Any hints are much appreciated!
